Our philosophy starts with a simple physical principle: energy does not disappear. It changes form. The first law of thermodynamics describes energy as conserved — and for us, that is more than a scientific statement. It is a way of looking at industry.

Industrial plants already contain energy, carbon and material streams with value. Too often these streams are treated only as losses, emissions or disposal problems. We develop technologies around the idea that what is already present should first be understood, connected and transformed before additional resources are demanded.

This principle is reflected in the CCC® Technology Platform: capture carbon at its source, connect existing process streams and create usable energy carriers from them.

Europe’s industrial transition is not defined by a single challenge. Climate action, energy security and affordable energy have to be addressed at the same time.

We believe technological development has to respond to all three. Decarbonisation that weakens industrial resilience is not enough. Energy security without reducing emissions is not enough either. And neither can be sustained if energy becomes economically inaccessible.

Our policy is therefore to develop solutions for industrial reality: technically sound, integrable into existing plants and designed to contribute to lower emissions, stronger energy resilience and competitive energy costs.
